Alison (Hunyady) Blankenship

I made it through 4 summers of The Cadets because of Michelle Owens. I know that to be many friends truths as well. She had a way of being positive, keeping it real, and motivating you that made a 4 hour sectional seem to fly by. I vividly remember looking at her on several occasions completely transfixed by her ability to look gorgeous and pulled together amidst the heat and humidity. Even after I aged out she reached out to me many times just to see how I was doing and what was going on in my life. That continual kind gesture proved that she truly cared about me and all of her students as human beings. I looked forward to running into her and Jeff at WGI every year, and every year I was met with the same warm smile, big hug, and genuine conversation on what was going on in my life from both of them. I am forever grateful for the continual positive impact that Michelle has on my life.
