I met Michelle in 2003. It was my age-out at Cadets in the flag line, and she was a tech. What I remember best about her is that she always exuded happiness (and she nailed the staff run-through!). I don't remember ever seeing her in a bad mood. She brought joy to all of our sectionals, and was always having fun. Now, 14 years later, I'm marching in a guard that she marched in (Field of View). There are two other members from the Cadets '03 flag line that are marching in different guards this year, and we're hoping to get a picture of "Michelle flag line graduates" at WGI. Fourteen years later and her former instruct-ees still smile when we think about her! I may have to teach this year's Field Of View guard the Water Break Cheer that Michelle taught us in Texas in '03; just a small piece of her

happiness to pass on.
