I was taught by Michelle in Crossmen and actually grew up in the activity watching her in FOV!

I guess one thing that always comes to mind is how in Corpsmen 96 Michelle was always a source of positivity. There was a staff change that year and with that, a lot of long time members left for other corps. So most of the guard was rookies, not just to the Crossmen but to drum corps in general. I think that year out of 42 members there were only 8 vets. Needless to say there were many ups and downs but Michelle was always there with that smile and go get em attitude. I took so much from the summers I marched under her into how I teach today.
