So many memories of Michelle come down to her amazing smile and selflessness. On Crossmen staff she always found a way to make me feel better after a bad run or bad day. One moment I truly remember is when my Santaluces Winterguard went to San Diego in 2004 for WGI. We had no floor help but guess whose colorguard drove up in the nick of time to help us? You betcha. Lassiter. I'll never forget that. Ever. I also remember just a couple months back. I was just walking down the sidewalk after the DCI Atlanta regional and boom!!! There is Jeff and Michelle. And there was that positive smile!!! From both of them! I didn't ask her how she was doing, as my sister herself hated that question. But I sensed that she was internally struggling even as she put on such a positive front for us and her friends and family. It's what she was about. Making sure those close to her feels positive vibe and her energy. So many other memories but these stand out as a testament to her character and selflessness. She is missed dearly by many!
