I met Michelle when we were both rookies in Crossmen 1990. Michelle was probably one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever known. She truly accepted people exactly as they were with no reservations. I’m lucky to have known such a wonderful person and the world is a little less special without her in it. Love to Jeff, Julie and the Owens and Sacktig families.

My favorite Michelle memory is from a picture posted by her (I believe) from 1991. As we all know, she always seemed to have a smile no matter what the situation. As she commented, it was a rough day and we decided that we needed to make her less cute like the rest of us because we all really felt like a mess that day. We just decided to start putting anything we could find – mostly weeds and twigs – in her hair. In the end, we decided that she was still as cute as ever and laughed hysterically. She said she wanted to put a smile on our faces and she certainly did that.
