I met Michelle when I was 9 years old , while being a "rugrat"with Crossmen and as busy as she was she still took the time to always talk to and teach my sisters and myself. I was lucky enough to be able to call her one of my first colorguard

instructor, she was the reason I started spinning, then got to march in one of her colorguards. One of my memories of Michelle was in 2000 while warming up to no other than the South Park soundtrack, "Blame Canada" came on and she did a entire parade routine to this song just laughing a smiling away. As it turns out warming up next to us was the colorguard of the Canadian corps, who thought her routine was one the the funniest things. I mean who could ever be mad at Michelle. Michelle was more than an instructor to me she was a mentor, friend and the big sister I never had.
