I had the distinct pleasure of marching two years in the Crossmen colorguard with Michelle (1993 & 1994) and then having her as an instructor the following year (1995). She was introduced to me as "Mo" at one of my first camps (and I will always think of her as Mo) and I quickly realized that she was a strong vet/leader whom I could go to for any sort of help. We unfortunately never became real close but the pure happy/fun vibe she constantly exuded and (again) her leading by example made my first year of drum corps very fun and memorable! And then to have her as an

instructor for my age-out year was awesome! She did an incredible job (and still made everything so fun!)! I especially remember when I was having trouble with a certain sabre toss and she personally worked with me over and over trying to help me nail it!

Michelle was a beautiful person inside and out and I am so happy that I had the

privilege of knowing her and being her friend!
