Mark Thurston Nomination Letter

Dear Crossmen Hall of Fame Members,

It is with great honor that I submit this letter of support for Michelle Owens posthumously for the Crossmen Hall of Fame. As a Crossmen, Michelle was always the model member. The dedication to her craft and commitment to excellence was evident every day. Michelle set an example that other members would model and her leadership skills were recognized and respected by so many.

As an instructor, Michelle was able to pass along her skills to other Crossmen on a daily basis which the corps greatly benefited from. There are few people in this activity that have the magic that Michelle had and I know for a fact that the performers that had the opportunity to learn from Michelle all treasure that experience.

As Crossmen Hall of Fame Members, we all know the hard work, dedication and sacrifice that got us all to this group. Michelle’s impact on the Crossmen will be forever lasting and she needs to be among this group. The only shame is that she was not inducted while she was smiling on this earth. Please help me in supporting the nomination for Michelle Owens into the class of 2017.
